How we research guides

We start with real buyer questions, then verify operational claims against current official Sugargoo pages and live marketplace listings where possible. Community posts may help identify questions and examples, but they are not treated as authority for account rules, fees, refunds, customs, or insurance.

Editorial and update standards

• Each guide states a review date and links to relevant references when available.
• Time-sensitive claims should be checked against the current official page before publication or refresh.
• Product links and buyer shares are discovery evidence, not guarantees of quality, authenticity, stock, price, or shipping eligibility.
• Corrections should update the affected guide and its review date rather than creating a duplicate page.

How product and catalogue evidence is labelled

Catalogue size, visible homepage rows, public QC references, and live-link verification are separate measurements. A catalogue count describes inventory scale; it does not mean every row has been manually verified. Homepage samples state their scope and source date, and buyers should still open the final marketplace listing before payment.

• Catalogue counts are dated observations from the linked live catalogue.
• Homepage sample counts describe only the rows rendered on that page.
• Public QC references are research context, not proof of the buyer's exact item.
• A listing is treated as current only after its final product page, options, price, and seller details are checked again.

Translation policy

Non-English drafts may use machine-assisted translation. Automated checks validate route coverage, links, metadata, and obvious language leakage; they do not prove native fluency. Translated pages should receive language-editor review before they are treated as final editorial copy.
